According to Iran's Maher news agency, Tasnim news agency, the head of the judicial department of Iran's Qum province, Kazem Musaviy, announced on 19 local time that Iran has executed a spy working for the Israeli intelligence and intelligence agency (Mossad).

The Mehr news agency quoted Mousavi as saying that the spy had been cooperating with the intelligence agencies of the "Zionist regime" since October 2023 and was arrested in February 2024. Tasnim news agency said Mousavi said the man was hanged on the 18th.

The report said that Mousavi said that after an in-depth intelligence investigation, collection of complete evidence, and the suspect admitted to cooperating with the "Zionist" website and passing information to it, this person was accused of espionage and intelligence cooperation with Mossad officials, and passing confidential information.
