Egyptian Foreign Minister Abdulati telephoned the foreign ministers of Germany, Italy, Spain and Canada on the 19th to coordinate international efforts to rebuild the Gaza Strip.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Egypt, Abdulahati focused on preparations for the International Conference on the Early Restoration, Reconstruction and Development of the Gaza Strip to be held in Egypt in November, stressing the urgent need to implement the Early Restoration and Reconstruction Plan of the Gaza Strip as soon as possible, ¡°these efforts must be carried out with the overall vision of safeguarding the rights of the Palestinian people.¡±

German, Italian, Spanish and Canadian foreign ministers reiterated that they will continue to coordinate with Egypt on the early restoration and reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, especially in preparation for the upcoming international conference.

Leaders of multiple countries and international organizations held a summit in the Red Sea coastal city of Sharm el-Sheikh in Egypt on the evening of the 13th, focusing on the first phase of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. In his speech at the summit, Egyptian President Sisi emphasized that the "two-state solution" is the only way to achieve peaceful coexistence between Palestinians and Israelis. He said Egypt intends to host an international conference on early recovery, reconstruction and development in the Gaza Strip.
