According to Thai media reports on October 6, the rescue team of Shadi County in Buriram Province received a request for help from Shadi Hospital, requesting support for cutting tools to cut a ring stuck on the genitals of a 28-year-old man. The man transformed the metal ring on the fishing rod into an iron ring and put it on his genitals, which then developed swelling.

Subsequently, rescuers successfully removed the iron ring using an electric cutting machine, but the wounded still did not improve, and were then sent to the central hospital of Wuri Nanjing for further treatment.

The incident shocked doctors and rescue personnel at the Sadi Hospital, which had never experienced a similar situation before.

A 31-year-old staff member of the Sadi rescue team said they rushed to the scene immediately after receiving a radio notification and found that the male genitals were wrapped with a plastic ring and a stainless steel ring, which were supposed to be parts removed from the western fishing rod, with double layers on the genitals.

Rescue workers carefully use a corner grinder (commonly referred to as "electric grinding" or "cutting machine") to cut, afraid of negligent operation to cause damage. The entire process takes about 10 minutes to smoothly remove the two rings.

During the rescue process, the medical personnel were busy with rescue, and could not stop laughing, because the injured person said "cause" during the process.
