On October 19, local time, the Islamic Revolutionary Guards issued a statement strongly condemning the recent terrorist attacks in the southeastern Iranian province of Sistan-Balochistan. The statement noted that the attackers were supported by the Israeli regime, leading to the killing of several Sunni elders and tribal leaders in the province.

The statement condemned the attempt to create divisions and undermine national unity through violence, and said the strong bond of solidarity between Shiites and Sunni will never be shaken.The statement also noted that local people and people from all walks of life will continue to remain vigilant and firmly united and resolutely resist any conspiracy to incite divisions.

The statement also warns that those who planned and carried out these crimes and their alleged messengers will be prosecuted and brought to justice.
