The National Timing Center has independently developed the world's leading independent time measurement system, and also built a major national scientific and technological infrastructure - a high-precision ground-based timing system, the relevant facilities will affect the safe and stable operation of "Beijing time", causing network communication failure, disruption of the financial system, power supply disruption, traffic paralysis, airspace launch failure and other serious consequences, and may even lead to international time into chaos, and the loss of harm is difficult to estimate.

After a careful investigation by the national security agency, it was found that the US Security Bureau's cyber attack activities against the National Time Service Center have been planned for a long time, showing progressive and systematic characteristics.

Starting from March 25, 2022, the U.S. Security Bureau took advantage of a loophole in the mobile phone text message service of an overseas brand to secretly attack and control the mobile phone terminals of multiple staff members of the National Timing Center, stealing sensitive information stored in the mobile phones.

Since April 18, 2023, the U.S. Security Agency has repeatedly used stolen login credentials to invade the computer of the National Timing Service Center and spy on the construction of the center's network system. From August 2023 to June 2024, the U.S. Security Agency specially deployed a new cyber combat platform, activated 42 special cyber attack weapons, carried out high-intensity cyber attacks on multiple internal network systems of the National Timing Center, and attempted to horizontally penetrate into high-precision ground-based Timing system, preset paralysis and destruction capabilities.

The national security organs found that the cyber attack activities of the US Security Bureau were mostly launched from late night to early morning Beijing time, using virtual private servers in the United States, Europe, Asia and other places as "springboards" to hide the source of the attack, forging digital certificates to bypass anti-virus software, etc. to hide the attack behavior, and using high-strength encryption algorithms to deeply erase the attack traces, which can be described as doing everything possible to carry out cyber attack infiltration activities.

National security organs see the recruitment, fix the evidence of U.S. attacks on the Internet, guide the national timecenter to conduct clearance disposal, cut off attack links, upgrade preventive measures, and eliminate hidden hazards.
