On October 18, local time, U.S. President Donald Trump wrote on his social platform ¡°Real Social¡± that:U.S. troops destroy a "large submarine carrying drugs and heading for the United States"¡£ He said that the U.S. intelligence agency confirmed that the submarine was loaded with drugs, and there were four "drug dealers" on board, two of whom were killed and the other two survived.

Trump noted that the two survivors were from Ecuador and Colombia, respectively, and would be deported to their country of origin for detention and prosecution.
