On the night of October 17 local time, a bus carrying more than 30 passengers crashed on an inter-city road in Bernabeu, northeastern Brazil.At least 15 people have been killed and many others injured¡£

According to a preliminary investigation by the Federal Highway Police, the bus was returning to Bahia from Pernambuco at the time of the accident. In Pernambuco, the vehicle hit a roadside rock in the wrong direction, then rolled over after hitting a roadside obstacle again.

Police said the injured were sent to a nearby hospital for treatment.The cause of the accident is being investigated.
