Xinhua Agency, Harare, October 17 (Reporter Xu Zheng) Christopher Mutswwa, spokesman of Zimbabwe's ruling party, the Zimbabwe African National Union-Patriotic Front (ZANU), said on the 16th that the continuous deepening of friendship between Zimbabwe and China has brought tangible benefits to the Zimbabwean people and economic development.

At the time, the press conference of the annual meeting of the ZNDU was held in Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe.Mutswan Gua said at the conference in response to questions from reporters of Xinhua news agency that the improvement of relations between the two countries helped Zimbabwe to development.

Mutsvangwa thanked China for always supporting Zimbabwe's opposition to Western sanctions. He said that the support of China and other countries has enabled Zimbabwe to move forward despite difficulties.

"China companies not only bring investment, but also produce goods here, which allows us to no longer just export unprocessed raw materials, but export steel (and other products)." Mutsjunwa said that the country's economic recovery and development are largely due to investment from China.

China and Zimbabwe established diplomatic relations in 1980. In September this year, the two heads of state announced that they would upgrade bilateral relations to an all-weather community with a shared future between China and Zimbabwe.
