According to the report, on December 14, 2011, 71-year-old Andy fell from a cliff of more than 100 meters while walking in the Montserrat mountain in Catalonia.The police quickly dispatched helicopters, ambulances and mountain rescue teams to the scene, but confirmed he had died.The local police initially considered the incident an accident and temporarily closed the case in January this year.

The incident, however, is suspicious. The National newspaper said the incident took place in a place not dangerous, when only Jonathan and Andy were together and there were no other witnesses. Moreover, the two testimony provided by Jonathan were contradictory, and the story described was also inconsistent with the findings of the cliff scene. In addition, Andy's late partner Knut stressed in a testimony, "the father and son are not in a relationship." So the Catalan police resumed the investigation in March this year.

Sources told Spain's "Pioneer" on the 16th that the police officially listed Jonathan as the main suspect at the end of September, and the case was changed from an accident to a suspected murder. Police have confiscated Jonathan's mobile phone and will analyze his mobile phone data and location records, and investigate issues such as father and son financial disputes and inheritance interests. Investigators said Knut was one of the reasons for the deterioration of the father-son relationship.

The National newspaper said that the police had not found any direct evidence enough to identify Jonathan as the murderer. Through a spokesperson, the Andicis said that "the Andicis did not and will not comment on the death of Isaac Andicis". Jonathan, the eldest of Andisch's three children, was born in 1981 and is a member of Mango's executive board before being named by Andisch as his successor to the company in 2012.
