Speaking as a representative of Venezuela, Vice-President of the Venezuelan National Assembly, Inventor, strongly condemned U.S. foreign policy, criticizing the U.S. side for linking the Latin American people, especially Venezuelans, to drug smuggling, and calling for an immediate cessation of aggression against Venezuela.
Morales, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, pointed out in his speech that the U.S. conduct is in clear violation of international law and the fundamental principles of the Charter of the United Nations and reiterated that Cuba firmly supports the cause of justice for all mankind, including against fascism and imperialist blockade, and defends national sovereignty and independence.
During the gathering, Cuban President Diaz-Canel officially handed over to Venezuelan representatives a book of signatures gathered by more than 4 million Cuban citizens, expressing the firm support of the Cuban people for Venezuela.
