Slovakia signs multiple intergovernmental agreements with Ukraine

On October 17, local time, representatives of the Slovak and Ukrainian governments signed several intergovernmental agreements, which were signed after a joint consultation meeting between the two governments in the Slovak city of Kochitz.

The two prime ministers jointly signed the Labour Mobility Cooperation and Information Exchange Agreement and the Roadmap for Joint Project Cooperation.The two ministers also signed intergovernmental agreements on technical and financial cooperation, the Protocol on amending the Intergovernmental Treaty on Common National Border Ports, and the Agreement on the mutual transfer of premises for diplomatic missions.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Sviridenko said, "Considering the EU's strategy of diversifying energy supply sources, I think it is our responsibility to open up new and reliable supply routes. We are not only ready to propose alternative energy solutions, but also technically synchronize our system to protect Slovakia from all threats and create a new regional energy center."
