Venezuelan President Maduro condemns the outrageous and explicit interference of the United States

On October 16th, local time, Venezuelan President Maduro condemned the CIA's secret operations in Venezuela in his speech at the event.

Maduro noted that while the CIA has "doed similar acts," no U.S. government has publicly claimed to have sent the CIA to "kill, subvert and destroy other countries" since the agency was founded.Maduro condemned this move by the United States as a blatant conspiracy to undermine Venezuela's peace and stability, and an outrageous, rude and explicit interference policy to subvert other countries' regimes.

Venezuela has now sent an official letter to the UN Secretary-General and the rotating chairman of the Security Council, condemning the recent U.S. military operations near the Caribbean coast of Venezuela directly threatening regional peace, Venezuela’s sovereignty and stability in Latin America, asking the Security Council to investigate U.S. actions to “establish their illegal nature”, acknowledge these illegal acts as a threat toining peace in Latin America and the Caribbean, and issued a statement reiterating the unconditional respect for national sovereignty, political independence and territorial integrity principles.
