Philippines earthquake death toll rises to 79

According to the National Disaster Reduction Committee of the Philippines, as of 6: 00 a.m. on October 17th, the death toll caused by the earthquake in northern Cebu Province, Philippines on September 30th rose to 79, and another 559 people were injured. The number of people affected by the disaster exceeds 740,000.

According to the report, more than 130,000 homes were damaged by the earthquake, and more than 900 public buildings such as hospitals, schools and others were damaged.
