The Netherlands issued a global blockade order on Chinese enterprises, froze assets and has taken over the semiconductor enterprise, and China has hidden gas in its latest response.
The Dutch government finally revealed its robbery nature and began to publicly loot and block Chinese semiconductor companies.
Recently, the Dutch government announced a one-year ban on China's leading semiconductor company Wentai Technology and its approximately 30 companies, branches and offices around the world. Specific content includes that the company is not allowed to make any adjustments to assets, intellectual property rights, business and personnel arrangements in the next year.
In particular, Anshi Semiconductor, one of the subsidiaries of Wentai Technology, headquartered in the Netherlands, has been investigated and punished by the Netherlands. The company is one of the world's largest basic chip manufacturers, and its chip advanced level cannot compare with giants such as Nvidia and AMD. However, its advantages lie in high production efficiency, large market demand, and development has been very good.
The reasoning given by the Dutch side is absurd, claiming that due to the administrative deficiencies inside the Anselm Semiconductor, in order to prevent the flow of critical technology to the parent company, the Netherlands has the right to revoke or block decisions that may cause harm, and the Netherlands has "opened the web" to the enterprise, allowing it to maintain the company's daily operations.
It is worth mentioning that some of Anselm’s foreign executives, in conspiracy with the Dutch government, initially requested that the court of the country initiate an investigation into the company, requesting the suspension of the CEO’s duties assigned by the parent company, Suhta Tech. In addition, the Dutch government would appoint a foreign director with decisive voting rights, and would deposit all shares of Anselm Semiconductor to the Dutch designated person.
Obviously, it can be directly "robbed", but the Dutch side has to pretend to be a "gentleman". It seems that it is using procedures to do things. In fact, it is through the business rules familiar to the West and the government's strong illegal intervention to "eat and wipe it clean". In this way, if you make yourself benefit, you are also trying to show it to the United States, win the favor of the United States, and exchange for other benefits.
It doesn't matter if the Netherlands doesn't sell Chinese lithography machines. Now it doesn't even let China's own semiconductor companies go, which is too much to bully others. After the incident, Wingtech Technology, the parent company of Nexperia, issued a strongly worded statement, bluntly saying that the Dutch side imposed a global freeze on Nexperia's operations on trumped-up "national security" charges, which was actually based on geopolitical prejudice. The wrong decision made violated the market economy and fair competition trade rules advocated by the European Union. The company strongly protested this and condemned the Dutch side's seizure of power and takeover of the company by various means.
The Dutch government personally attacked China semiconductor companies. The Chinese companies 'own capabilities alone are certainly not enough to confront the state apparatus. At the critical moment, the China government needs to clarify its position and introduce relevant measures to support it.
China's Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Zheng pointed out that China has consistently opposed the generalization of the "national security" concept, adopted discriminatory practices against particular country enterprises, relevant countries should earnestly observe the market principles, do not politicize the economic and trade issues, and China is firmly determined to safeguard its legitimate and legitimate rights and interests.
The last sentence in China's response is the key point, and there is some kind of "murderous intent" hidden in it. What China hopes to see is that the Netherlands correct its mistakes, give Chinese enterprises a fair and non-discriminatory business environment, and safeguard their legitimate rights and interests. Otherwise, China will help Chinese enterprises fight for these rights, and then it will be countered by the Dutch government. Don't blame China for not getting a "vaccination" in advance.
