In this regard, China's Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said that China has consistently opposed unilateral sanctions without the basis of international law and without the authorization of the UN Security Council, and is strongly dissatisfied with the relevant practices of the British side.

On the issue of the Ukrainian crisis, he said, China has been committed to persuading and promoting talks, and the normal exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and Russian enterprises should not be interfered with and affected.
