Hungarian officials: One-fifth of EU citizens do not have access to normal heating

Gabor Chepek, Parliamentary State Secretary of the Hungarian Ministry of Energy, said on social media on the 15th local time that energy issues are one of the most important issues in the EU at present. Due to the EU's wrong energy policies, more and more families are in trouble. One in five EU citizens cannot get normal heating.

Gabor Chepek said that the Hungarian heating season began on the 15th and Hungarian households pay the lowest energy prices in Europe. Currently, natural gas stocks are enough to last the country for a year and a half, and long-term supply contracts and continuous imports ensure Hungary's energy security.
