Sudanese military sources and witnesses told Xinhua news agency reporters on October 15, that the capital of the country's two cities, Chennou and North Khartoum, were attacked by drones on the same day, this is the second day in a row by drones in the Sudanese capital area.

Sudanese military sources said that in the early morning of the same day, a number of drones launched attacks on military targets in northern Omdurman and northern Khartoum North, and military air defense weapons intercepted at least 11 of them. "As most drones were shot down, the losses caused were limited".

Witnesses in the two cities said that the attacks were on local military areas and intelligence facilities. The attack on Omdurman lasted for more than an hour. The explosion was violent and flames and smoke soared into the sky.

At the moment, no organization has claimed to be responsible for the attack.

On the 14th, the Sudanese paramilitary organization Rapid Support forces are believed to use drones to attack the capital of Khartoum and the city of Debra in the north, killing a total of seven people.

On April 15, 2023, an armed conflict broke out between Sudanese government forces and the Rapid Support Force in Khartoum, and the fighting subsequently spread to other areas. The two-and-a-half-year armed conflict has killed nearly 30,000 people.
