People's Network Beijing, October 15 (Reporters Dengji, Aldaq) Global Women's Summit held in Beijing from October 13 to 14. President of the National Trade Union of Turkmenistan and Chairman of the Women's Union, Beldileeva, told People's Network reporters that the conference became an important platform for exchanging experiences between countries, exploring innovative paths, and enhancing international solidarity.

Berdilieva introduced that the summit focused on a number of core issues, including areas such as improving women's rights and interests, enhancing women's influence in sustainable development and decision-making processes, and promoting social and economic equity. In addition, the important role of youth education and the family in social harmony has also become topics of in-depth discussion among the participants.

She recalled the United Nations Fourth World Conference on Women held in Beijing in 1995 and called it an important milestone in the global protection of women's rights and interests and gender equality. The Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action adopted by the conference established comprehensive goals for the international women's movement, covering the elimination of gender discrimination and ensuring women's equal rights in education, health, decision-making participation and economic life. They also laid the foundation for the formulation of national strategies, legal reforms and cooperation with relevant United Nations agencies. The Platform for Action has become a programmatic document for the formulation of women's policies in Turkmenistan. The Women's Union of Turkmenistan actively promotes the realization of these goals and continues to promote women's influence in social development through developing entrepreneurial initiatives, carrying out projects for rural women and youth, and consolidating family institutions.

Berdiliyeva highly appreciated China¡¯s contribution to promoting gender equality, protecting women¡¯s and children¡¯s rights and expanding international humanitarian exchanges. She pointed out that China has provided important leads to countries around the world by strengthening international cooperation.The relevant international exchanges have created valuable opportunities for countries to learn from each other, carry out joint projects, and deepen dialogue between women leaders, entrepreneurs, social activists and young people.

Beldiyeva said that Turkmenistan and China have mutual respect, shared humanitarian values and focused on sustainable development. The two countries have established close cooperation at the bilateral and international levels. Both sides pay particular attention to issues such as social fairness, education and maternal and child health, and the dialogue between them is growing. We believe that in the future, the two sides have a broad space for exchanges in areas such as supporting women¡¯s entrepreneurship, inheriting family values, promoting educational programs and health initiatives. She stressed that Turkmenistan is willing to continue to contribute to the common cause of women around the world, committed to building a world that is just, sustainable and peaceful, helping women to show their full talent and realize self-worth.
