Kennedy to the US, and at the same time sent a letter from Russian President Vladimir Putin to US President Trump.

The Russian Embassy in the United States said on social media that Russia has sent copies of documents related to Kennedy's assassination and Putin's letter to Republican Congressman Anna Paulina Luna of the US Congress. However, the Russian side did not disclose the contents of the letter.

Russian news agency quoted Russian embassy reports as saying, "President Trump promised to the American public to conduct more investigations into the assassination of President Kennedy," at the request of Luna, the Russian ambassador to the United States Alexander Darchev delivered Putin's letter when she met with her and documents related to the assassination of Kennedy, documents from declassified Soviet-era archives.

Earlier in the day, Luna "previewed" on social media that the documents sent by Dalchiev had 350 pages. Later, she issued another document confirming the receipt of these documents and thanked the Russian side, saying that this move had "great historical significance".

According to Luna, the U.S. Congress tried to obtain the above documents in the 1990s, but Russia refused to provide them. Now it is the first time that the U.S. has been able to access these documents.

On November 22, 1963, 46-year-old Kennedy was shot dead while cruising the Elm Street in Dallas, Texas. On January 23, 1963, Trump signed an executive order requiring authorities to uncover all the remaining files of the assassination of Kennedy, his brother Robert F. Kennedy and Black People's Rights leader Martin Luther King. In March, the National Archives and Records Administration released the Kennedy murder files.
