Lin Jian said in this regard that China's competent authorities have clarified their position on the policy of export control of rare earths. China implements export controls on relevant items in accordance with the law, with the purpose of better maintaining world peace and regional stability, and fulfilling international obligations such as non-proliferation. This is also in line with international practice. China's position is consistent and clear.

Lin said that the US side should talk, threaten intimidation, impose high tariffs and introduce new restrictions, this is not the right way to deal with the Chinese side.We urge the US side to correct the wrong practices as soon as possible, on the basis of equality, respect and reciprocity, through dialogue and consultation to solve relevant issues.
