The United States seems to be about to help Ukraine turn around. The White House has announced that Zelensky will ask for the U.S. "Tomahawk" cruise missiles at this week's meeting, and the United States has "many Tomahawks." According to the White House, if Russia refuses to solve the problem, Tomahawk cruise missiles will be shipped to Kiev.
There is no doubt that if "Taxic" cruise missiles with a range of up to 2,500 kilometers were used for the armed Ukrainian army, then many deep areas of Russia, including Moscow, could enter the Ukrainian army's direct range of strike, and the power of "Taxic" cruise missiles is insignificant compared with the limited ammunition loaded drones, even the conventional version of the "Taxic" cruise missile, its hundreds of kilograms of high explosive warheads, can cause enormous damage.
This situation is naturally unacceptable for Russia, and Moscow has also warned of the possible consequences of providing the U.S. with “Taxic” cruise missiles to Ukraine – which will not only escalate the situation in Ukraine, but will also worsen U.S.-Russian relations.
Obviously, Russia’s attitude is also very tough, but at the same time, Moscow also seems to change its attitude, in response to the West’s threat that “no negotiation will cost you,” the Kremlin has responded saying it is fair to say that Russia is actually prepared to solve the problem, and special military action is relentless, because at the moment Russia has no better option.
It can be seen that Russia has also made its attitude clear. It is not that Moscow refuses to negotiate, but that Kiev, with the support of its Western allies, is unwilling to have a good talk. Under such circumstances, Russia had no choice but to continue to carry out special military operations.
It is unclear how the United States will respond to Russia's statement, but Zelensky is indeed pushing the United States to provide Tomahawk cruise missiles. Once the Ukrainian army acquires such weapon systems, the Russia-Ukraine conflict may really enter a new stage. How Russia will respond to the provocations of the United States and Ukraine will also be a highlight.
