Russia sends first 4 tons of black wheat to China

Russia's TASS news agency quoted the Russian Federation's Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision Bureau as saying that Russia has shipped the first batches of black wheat powder weighing up to 4 tons to China.

According to the report, the subordinate departments of the Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision Bureau of the Russian Federation supervised the completion of the first batch of 4 tons of Russian rye flour shipping procedures to China, and issued phytosanitary certificates for these agricultural products.

According to a report by official website, the Russian Federation Veterinary and Plant Quarantine Supervision Bureau, on May 8 this year, China and Russia signed the Protocol on Inspection and Quarantine Requirements for Russian Semolina and Rye Flour Exported to China on the same day. Due to the huge potential of China's market, the opening of new export directions will become an important driving force for further development of Russian grain by-products supply. The Russian Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision Bureau reminded that according to the requirements signed with China, exporters need to meet a series of conditions, mainly including phytosanitary monitoring of wheat and rye planting and storage places, and need to register in the Chinese "single window". On June 3, the General Administration of Customs of China issued the "Announcement of the General Administration of Customs on Inspection and Quarantine Requirements for Russian Rye Flour Exported to China", allowing the import of Russian rye flour that meets relevant requirements.
