German experts: this route is not a single-way route, but a win-win network

On the evening of October 13, local time, the cargo ship "Istanbul Bridge", which departed from Zhoushan Port in Ningbo on September 23 and loaded with more than 1000 TEUs, successfully arrived at Frixto Port, the UK's largest container port, via the Arctic Channel. This marks the successful opening of the world's first China-Europe Arctic container express route.

Regarding the successful navigation of the China-EU Arctic Express route, German experts pointed out in an interview with reporters from Taiwan that the navigation will bring significant time and cost advantages to China-EU trade exchanges. With the structural adjustment of global supply chains, economic and trade ties between China and Europe have become increasingly close,This new route not only optimizes transportation routes, but also enhances the resilience of China-Europe industrial chains and supply chains

German automotive expert Thomas Kaffett:I think it is very important for this line to be put into operation. This logistics channel is not only a line, but also a transportation network. This transportation network will cover the high-value goods needed in Europe, strengthen the stability of the supply chain, and make the supply faster.

Kaifu believes that the China-Europe Arctic Express route will make China and Europe more efficient in the fields of auto parts export, vehicle assembly and sales, etc.

German automotive expert Thomas Kaffett:Environmental protection is also very important for Europe, I believe more electric vehicles will come here from China in the future, and it is very important for customers to receive their goods quickly, so from this perspective, the Arctic Express route is a good compromise, because the cost of shipping electric vehicle parts by air is too high.

Kaifu also said that the Arctic Express route will play a joint role with China-Europe trains to further strengthen mutual benefit between China and the EU in the economic and trade fields.

German automotive expert Thomas Kaffett:I think this line will develop further. The only problem now may be that this line may only be used during certain periods of time, but during the time when this line cannot be used, China-Europe freight trains are also a rapid way to supply goods. I think it is equally important that it will also allow more European products to be exported to China. This means that from food to machinery, we have many products that are in demand in China. The China market is open to most goods. Many people in Europe don't even know this, so containers will not come full and return empty. There will definitely be more products exported to China in the future, so this line will not be a one-way street.
