The cargo ship departed from Ningbo Zhoushan Port, fully loaded with about 4,000 TEUs, and will successively complete unloading operations at ports in Britain, Germany, Poland and the Netherlands.

Li Xiaobin, chief operating officer of Haiji Shipping (Hong Kong) Limited, which is responsible for the route, introduced at the container unloading site that the sea temperature of the China-Europe Arctic Express Route is suitable for the transport of heat-sensitive goods and goods with high requirements for timeliness.The cargo ship mainly carries "new three" goods represented by new energy vehicles, lithium batteries and photovoltaic products.

It is understood that the China-Europe Arctic Express goes directly to Europe via the Arctic Northeast Passage. On October 8th, after leaving the channel, the ship encountered storm "Amy" in Norwegian waters. In order to ensure safe slowing down navigation, it arrived at Felixstowe Port two days later than planned. Compared with the route of about 25 days for the China-Europe freight train, 40 days for the Suez Canal route and 50 days for the Cape of Good Hope route, this route has obvious timeliness advantages.

In an interview with Xinhua news agency, Captain Zhang said it was exciting for the entire crew to reach the destination smoothly.The company began preparing for the route three years ago, upgraded the ship's hardware equipment, and systematically trained the crew.
