ZTE Security Agreement officially entered into force

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security informed reporters that the Social Insurance Agreement between the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic came into force on October 14.

According to the agreement, Kyrgyzstan will exempt Chinese dispatched personnel, self-employed personnel, employees on shipping ships and aircraft, employees of international transport companies, officials, members of diplomatic missions and consular offices from the obligation to participate in old age, disability, and inheritance insurance in Guangzhou, and China will exempt those mentioned in Guangzhou from the obligation to participate in the basic old-age insurance of urban workers and urban and rural residents.

It is understood that after the agreement comes into effect, it will effectively safeguard the social protection rights and interests of people employed by the two countries in the other country, reduce the social security contribution costs of enterprises and personnel of both sides, further promote economic and trade relations between the two countries, and facilitate personnel exchanges.

China has previously signed bilateral social security agreements with Germany, South Korea, Denmark, Finland, Canada, Switzerland, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Luxembourg, Japan, Serbia and 12 other countries.
