At the forum, the People's Daily issued the "Asian-Pacific-Asia-Pacific 16 National Opinion Survey Report."The report pointed out that the people of the Asia-Pacific region generally recognize that the Asia-Pacific economy is a prosperous, damaged community of interests, a community of destiny, and look forward to all countries working together to build a vibrant, harmonious, inclusive, and prosperous Asia-Pacific family. The report, jointly sponsored by the International Department of People's Daily and the Global Times Research Institute, shows that more than 80% of respondents recognize the positive role played by APEC in promoting regional economic development, social progress and improvement of people's livelihood, and more than 70% of respondents support their country's more active and in-depth participation in various cooperation under the APEC framework. More than 70% of respondents expressed their expectation for building an open, dynamic, resilient and peaceful Asia-Pacific community in 2040. These data fully reflect the general desire of people in the Asia-Pacific region to deepen APEC cooperation and build an open regional economy. At the forum, the Global Times also released a short video of China-Korea exchanges and mutual examination achievements, to review the fruitful achievements of the forum series of activities in images, showing the continued deepening of humanitarian exchanges and cooperation between the two countries. Currently, the 2025-2026 China-Japan-South Korea Cultural Exchange Year activities continue to advance, China-South Korea visa facilitation policies have been implemented one after another, and the two-way tourism boom continues to heat up.
