Yu Shaoliang, president of People's Daily, Zhang Dahuan, president of Korea Media Group, Park Bingxi, former speaker of South Korea's National Assembly, and Dai Bing, Chinese ambassador to South Korea attended the forum and delivered speeches. Nearly 100 media representatives, diplomatic envoys, experts, scholars and business people from the two countries had in-depth exchanges and discussions on economic development, green transformation, media cooperation and other issues.

Guests at the meeting said that the connotation of China-South Korea strategic cooperative partnership in the new era needs to be continuously enriched and deepened. The media of the two countries should demonstrate their responsibilities and responsibilities, work together to promote the Asian values of peace, cooperation, openness and tolerance, gather the common values of all parties in the region, gather the common yearning of Asian people for a better life, and continuously help enhance strategic mutual trust and consolidate the foundation of public opinion.

In his speech, the president of the People's Daily said that the development of China-Korea relations should focus on the common future, open up a new space for cooperation, and the two countries' media should focus on cutting-edge areas such as artificial intelligence, digital economy, green development, promote exchanges and cooperation between the two sides in relevant fields, and contribute to jointly building the "digital cooperation path", paving the "green cooperation path" and passing on the "youth cooperation path".

Zhang Dahuan, president of Korea Media Group, said in his speech at the forum that South Korea and China are not only close economic partners, but also neighbors who need to jointly explore the future. The media should play the role of pointing out the direction and enhancing trust, objectively conveying industrial economic changes, and helping enterprises and people better understand each other.

In his speech, South Korea¡¯s former congressman and special professor of the International Graduate School of the University of Seoul, Park Bingsi, said that China is vigorously advancing the transformation in the digital and energy fields, which is in line with South Korea¡¯s development strategy and the global market is large, and we should explore future-oriented cooperation.¡±

In his speech, China's ambassador to South Korea said that China and South Korea are important neighbors and partners, and that friendly exchanges between the two countries have a long history, and the real interests are deeply merged.Strengthening friendly cooperation is always the wisest choice that best meets the fundamental interests of the two countries and the people of the two countries.

At the forum, South Korea Foreign Language University International Regional Strategy Specialist Professor Park HanÕæ said in an interview with the Global Times reporter that China and South Korea have close relations in the fields of economic cooperation, industrial coordination and cultural exchanges. He believes that this forum provides an important opportunity to further deepen China-Korea bilateral cooperation in the future, and that it is now a good opportunity for the two countries to further strengthen cooperation.

The forum was jointly sponsored by People's Daily and Korea Media Group. The forum will set up keynote speeches by Chinese and Korean entrepreneurs, round-table dialogue on "China-South Korea mutual learning and common development" and other links, and hold "Harmony with the United States-China-South Korea Friendship Photo Exhibition".

At the forum, the People's Daily issued the "Asian-Pacific-Asia-Pacific 16 National Opinion Survey Report."The report pointed out that the people of the Asia-Pacific region generally recognize that the Asia-Pacific economy is a prosperous, damaged community of interests, a community of destiny, and look forward to all countries working together to build a vibrant, harmonious, inclusive, and prosperous Asia-Pacific family.

The report, jointly sponsored by the International Department of People's Daily and the Global Times Research Institute, shows that more than 80% of respondents recognize the positive role played by APEC in promoting regional economic development, social progress and improvement of people's livelihood, and more than 70% of respondents support their country's more active and in-depth participation in various cooperation under the APEC framework. More than 70% of respondents expressed their expectation for building an open, dynamic, resilient and peaceful Asia-Pacific community in 2040. These data fully reflect the general desire of people in the Asia-Pacific region to deepen APEC cooperation and build an open regional economy.

At the forum, the Global Times also released a short video of China-Korea exchanges and mutual examination achievements, to review the fruitful achievements of the forum series of activities in images, showing the continued deepening of humanitarian exchanges and cooperation between the two countries.

Currently, the 2025-2026 China-Japan-South Korea Cultural Exchange Year activities continue to advance, China-South Korea visa facilitation policies have been implemented one after another, and the two-way tourism boom continues to heat up.
