This summit aims to end the war in the Gaza Strip, strengthen efforts for peace and stability in the Middle East, and open a new era of regional security and stability. The summit was co-chaired by Egyptian President Seyce and US President Trump.
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu confirmed his attendance at the last moment before the meeting and cancelled the trip. Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) did not send a representative to the meeting.
Leaders of more than twenty countries including Britain, France, Germany, Jordan, Palestine, the UAE, Turkey and Pakistan, as well as the UN Secretary-General, the Secretary-General of the Arab League and the President of the Council of Europe attended the summit.
