Lin Jian said that we are very concerned and worried about the recent conflict between Pakistan and Afghanistan and the tense relationship between Pakistan and Afghanistan. Both Pakistan and Afghanistan are friendly neighbors of China. Pakistan and Afghanistan are neighbors that cannot be moved away. It is in the fundamental and long-term interests of both sides to adhere to good-neighborly friendship, achieve economic and social development and jointly combat terrorism.

China sincerely hopes that the two countries will focus on the general situation, calmly restrain, insist on properly resolving each other's concerns through dialogue and consultation, avoid escalation of conflict, and jointly safeguard peace and stability in both countries and the region. China is willing to continue to play a constructive role in improving the development of Ba'a relations.
