According to KCNA, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam Su Lin arrived in Pyongyang on the 9th to visit North Korea on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Workers 'Party of Korea. Expert: North Korea takes the initiative

Liu Liu, a professor of foreign languages at Shandong University in China, and deputy director of the China-Japan-Korea Cooperation Research Center, pointed out that the multilateral diplomatic wave launched by the DPRK on the occasion of commemorating the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Labour Party demonstrates the positive willingness of the DPRK to deepen unity and cooperation with traditional friendly countries. This is the initiative taken by the DPRK in the current international situation to create a more favorable external development environment.

Bi Yingda, a professor at the School of International Studies of Sun Yat-sen University, believes that this round of North Korean diplomacy is characterized by taking the initiative and continuing to seek "positive breakthroughs" to achieve national strategic goals. To this end, North Korea not only seeks to strengthen relations with traditional friendly countries, but also actively seeks active exchanges with countries that are not opposed to or hostile to North Korea, that is, "all-round diplomacy". As a result, on the whole, a situation in which "frontal breakthrough" and "circuitous breakthrough" go hand in hand has been formed.
