Iran's foreign minister says he doubts the U.S. can keep his promises

According to Iran's Islamic Republic news agency, on October 11, Iranian Foreign Minister Al-Aragzhi, in an interview on the situation in Gaza and Iran's nuclear issue, said that the United States' conduct in recent years is not stable, and he is skeptical about whether the United States can meet its commitments in the reconstruction and support of Gaza.

Alagzzi said it is necessary to keep an eye on the practical actions of the United States and Israel. The subsequent stages of any agreement will become the real criterion for testing the American integrity.

Al-Araqi denied that he had telephone contacts with U.S. Special Envoy Witkov for the Middle East, and that the two sides exchanged information only through intermediaries. The U.S. requested direct negotiations with Iran, and rejected Iran’s request for the United Kingdom, France, Germany and the International Atomic Energy Agency to be present together.
