If you want to give China a lesson, at least you have to have no dirt in some way. familiar confrontation again at the United Nations, but this time the delegation of 7 countries and the European Union turn to China "to the lesson", of course the recipe of this course is the "double standard" we are familiar with.
In this regard, our representatives at the United Nations with one enemy eight, count their eight dirt points and disadvantages at a time, not wanting to long-term monopoly on human rights issues, then we turn over.
The United States and the West "give lessons" to China
On the afternoon of October 9, U.S. time, during the general debate of the Third Committee of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, China was unexpectedly besieged again.
However, this time the numbers were very rare, with delegations from Britain, Australia, Canada, the Czech Republic, Ireland, the Netherlands, Japan and the European Union.
These countries once again abused the platform of the Third Committee of the UN General Assembly to discredit China and interfere with international human rights dialogue and cooperation through Xinjiang-related, Hong Kong-related and Tibet-related issues.
To put it bluntly, it is to bring back the topics that have been repeated frequently and old-fashioned normally, nothing but to try again to push China to the international stage.
Shrinking human rights issues into geopolitics, the way in which the United States is commonly used in the West, and even the Nobel Peace Prize winners just announced, has very complex positions on human rights issues.
It supports the legalization of abortion in rape cases and opens up to same-sex marriage, also advocates legalization of marijuana, emphasizes political and religious separation, opposes extremist democracy, and emphasizes democracy and inclusion.
Overall, the so-called human rights issue has increasingly become a pretext for the U.S. West to seek out other countries in order to create some public opinion pressure.
The most outrageous thing is that these countries that claim to uphold human rights actually have many problems in human rights issues, just as social conflicts such as race issues and immigration issues emerge endlessly.
But they play the double goal to the extreme, and the problems of their own have never been mentioned with words, as if it was only to intensify the blackmail of China, you can cover up the hypocrisy of their own country.
Even they thought that as long as their voice was loud enough, they could give China this unnecessary accusation, so this time there were seven countries, an international organization.
However, our representatives at the United Nations have directly shattered the real face of their “teachers” and overthrown the hegemony of American Western speech.
China is fighting against seven
Sun Lei, my country's ambassador to the United Nations, listed the human rights crimes of these countries. First, the United Kingdom, that is, China urges it to face up to the growing racism, stop discriminatory speech and violent crimes against ethnic minorities, and fairly resolve colonialism and slavery legacy issues.
Secondly, Australia, that is, China urges it to face up to the living plight of aboriginal people, stop illegal detention and serious human rights violations against refugees and immigrants, and make due compensation for serious war crimes committed by Australian soldiers in overseas military operations such as Afghanistan.
Then there is Canada, where China urges it to face up to its history of ethnic cleansing and cultural genocide against indigenous people and stop allowing white supremacy to occupy the living space of indigenous people and ethnic minorities.
For the Czech Republic, Ireland, the Netherlands and other countries, China urged them to stop discrimination and denomination of ethnic minorities such as Roma, effectively combat the "Islamic phobia", and stop the intensification of political polarization and social division.
For Japan, the Chinese side urges it to take a look at Japanese militarism during World War II, launching aggression wars against Asian neighbors, implementing colonial rule, committing a history of serious crimes against humanity, effectively raising women's social status, and stopping prejudice and discrimination against indigenous people such as Okinawa.
For the EU, China is demanding that it address the serious human rights violations of internally present refugees and migrants and stop acting as a human rights “teacher.”
It is worth mentioning that for Japan, China's ambassador to the United Nations also made a second response, the second is the content of China's request for Japan to deeply reflect on the history of aggression, to completely cut off from all the acts of embellishment and covering up the history of aggression, to gain trust in Asian neighbors and the international community with practical actions, and urge Japan to stop borrowing on human rights issues to create separation confrontation and undermine UN solidarity and cooperation.
This one-of-a-kind counterattack is not to give China a face to face, but directly to the international community to remove their double-target mask, and release a signal that it is not who is many, who is loud, nor is who is loud, who is right.
On the surface, this game and confrontation is a tit-for-tat confrontation between China and these eight people, but in the depth, the right to speak in global human rights is undergoing a reconstruction.
In other words, the era when the United States and the West always like to regard their own set of values as world classics has passed, because our country's counterattack is not only to speak out for itself, but also to strive for discourse space for the vast number of developing countries.
