The Egyptian Presidential Palace said in a statement that the "Sharm el-Sheikh Peace Summit" aims to end the war in the Gaza Strip, strengthen the promotion of peace and stability in the Middle East, and open a new chapter in regional security and stability. The summit will be co-chaired by Egyptian President Sisi and US President Trump.

The U.S. Aksios News website reported on the 10th that leaders or foreign ministers of Germany, France, Britain, Italy, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Indonesia will attend the summit.

The Elysee Palace, the French presidential palace, confirmed on the 11th that President Macron will attend the summit, express support for the implementation of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, reiterate support for the "two-state solution", and discuss the implementation of the subsequent stages of the agreement. The British Prime Minister's Office at No.10 Downing Street announced that Prime Minister Starmer will attend the summit on the 13th to witness the signing of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.

According to Egyptian media reports, an official of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) said that Hamas will not attend the signing ceremony of the agreement, but the Hamas negotiating delegation will continue to participate in the negotiations in the subsequent stage of the agreement. According to previous media reports, most members of the delegation, such as Hamas chief negotiator Haya, have left Sharm el-Sheikh, leaving two senior Hamas officials responsible for liaising with Egypt and implementing the relevant contents of the agreement.

Hamas and Israel began a new round of Gaza ceasefire negotiations in Sharm el-Sheikh on the 6th. According to a report by Egypt's Cairo News TV in the early morning of the 9th, Egypt, Qatar and other mediators announced that Israel and Hamas have reached an agreement on all terms and implementation mechanisms for the first phase of the ceasefire agreement. The Israel Defense Forces issued a statement on the 10th, saying that the first phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement took effect at 12:00 local time on the 10th.
