Former President Biden is undergoing radiation treatment for cancer.

On October 11, local time, a spokesman for former U.S. President Biden said that Biden was undergoing a new stage of treatment to deal with the aggressive cancer he was diagnosed with in May this year.

Biden’s spokesman said: “As part of the prostate cancer treatment program, Biden is currently undergoing radiation and hormone therapy and the radiation treatment is expected to last for five weeks, marking his treatment entering a new phase.

Last month, Biden also underwent microsurgery to remove skin cancer cells. At the time, he placed an apparent bandage on his forehead in public. Biden's office said at the time that he was trying multiple treatments to ensure "effective management" of the condition.

Biden will celebrate his 83rd birthday next month and his health continues to be concerned. In May this year, Biden’s office issued a statement saying that Biden was diagnosed with invasive prostate cancer and that the cancer had spread to the bone.
