On the afternoon of October 11th, Mozambican Prime Minister Levi arrived at Beijing Capital International Airport by plane. She will attend the Global Women's Summit in Beijing.

In the 1970s, the National Women's Federation of Mozambique gave great help to women's organizations in Mozambique, and in 1995 the World Women's Federation of Beijing promoted women's work in Mozambique. In 2019, the tropical cyclone "Idi" landed in Mozambique, causing severe disasters, and China, through the Global Development and South-South Cooperation Fund and the United Nations Population Fund, provided health assistance to women and girls in Mozambique affected by the tropical cyclone "Idi" to improve the post-catastrophic health of women and girls.

Mozambique Women's Organizations have played an irreplaceable role in leading Mozambican women to seek economic development and improve social status. Women have become an important positive force in Mozambican social life. The illiteracy rate among women in Mozambique has dropped from 88% in 1980 to 46% in 2021. Mozambique has also increased the proportion of women representatives at all levels of governance.
