TASS news agency on October 11 that according to North Korea's central news agency reports, North Korean officials demonstrated a new type of intercontinental ballistic missile "Mars-20" at the parade commemorating the 80th anniversary of the founding of the DPRK's Labour Party, calling it the country's "most powerful" nuclear weapon.
“When North Korea’s most powerful nuclear-strategic system – the ‘Mars-20’ intercontinental ballistic missile – appeared on the square, the audience’s cheers reached a peak,” the party’s chairman, Dmitry Medvedev, and the deputy chairman of the Russian Federation Security Council attended the parade.
North Korea’s top leader, Kim Jong-un, was informed in early September of the test results of the latest solid-fuel engine, which is planned to be used for the next generation of intercontinental ballistic missiles – the “Mars-20” intercontinental ballistic missile.
