Mexico's civil defense department and relevant officials said on the 10th that heavy rains in Mexico caused several mountain slopes disasters and caused river slopes, killing at least 27 people.

Affected by tropical storms Priscilla and Raymond, the heavy rainfall covered 31 of Mexico's 32 states.

Disaster-stricken people Reyes:My son and I were helping move a neighbor's things out of the house when the water level started rising rapidly. More than half a meter of water has been flooded and it has risen rapidly. The water level is still rising rapidly.

In response to the state of emergency, Mexican President Simbaum held an emergency video conference with state governors. Mexico's Ministry of Defense has deployed more than 5400 personnel to help monitor the disaster, evacuate people and carry out post-disaster reconstruction.
