On October 11, local time, according to the peninsula television news, the Israeli government once again ordered the closure of the peninsula television station's office in the city of Ramallah on the West Bank for 60 days.

Israeli soldiers broke into Al Jazeera's office in Ramallah and demanded it be closed for 45 days on Sept. 22, 2024.

Since the outbreak of a new round of Israeli conflict on 7 October 2023, the Peninsula TV has continued to criticize Israeli military operations. The government has accused the Peninsula TV of defaming the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and inciting actions against Israel.
