Danish wind power giant announced it will lay off 2000 jobs

On the 9th local time, Danish wind power giant Woscher Energy announced that due to the sluggish business development in the United States, the company plans to lay off 2000 people by 2027, accounting for about a quarter of its global workforce.

Rasmus Erbo, CEO of Waxu Energy, said in a statement on the same day that the company will optimize human resources through job streamlining, asset divestiture and outsourcing, reducing the number of global employees from the current 8000 to 6000 people.

In the future, the company will focus more on European business, especially to enhance its competitiveness in the field of offshore wind power.
