A double homicide occurred in Shengang, a town in northeastern Singapore. Two victims, a man and a woman, were found in a house. The male victim was found to have died about a month earlier than the female victim. The two were confirmed to be father-daughter, and the female deceased was a high-ranking student with a doctorate from Cambridge University.
The Apartment.
Neighbors called the police after finding the body.
On Monday (6th), a woman found that the stench of blood dripping from the ceiling of her house was unbearable, so she called the police to expose the case. When the police arrived at the scene, they found that the male deceased had turned into bones and died in the bedroom, while the female deceased was dead in the living room. According to the degree of decay of the two bodies, the police believed that the male deceased died about one month earlier than the female deceased.
There is constant speculation from the outside world, and it is particularly puzzling why the female deceased didn't ask the police for help, but stayed with her father's body for many days.
The closed door.
Neighbors revealed that the two deceased had little communication with people, especially the female deceased rarely came out of the door, and life was quite mysterious. Neighbors also told the New Tomorrow newspaper that the family of the deceased lived together with three people at the beginning, and since the death of the husband's wife a few years ago, the two deceased appeared less in public places.

The dead woman’s classmates said she was clever and polite.
The New York Times called the woman named Xu Nana (translated), and contacted her fellow students who had previously studied with her at the National University of Singapore, who called Xu Nana an introvert, a very polite and intelligent girl, and we attended the Chinese school together, so we knew her.
The reporter later learned that Xu Na graduated from the Department of Computer Science of the National University of Singapore in 2001, and then received his Ph.D. from Cambridge University in 2008. She worked as a researcher in France.
Singapore police are still investigating the cause and details of the murder.
The dead cared for their father.
According to the Huizhou Daily, Xu Yong (45 years old, restaurant owner), a college classmate of Xu, revealed that Xu Yong's family came from the Northeast, whose parents immigrated to Singapore in the early years, and she came to study in the middle school. Xu Yong graduated from the Department of Computer at the National University of Singapore in 2001, received a master's degree in 2003, a PhD from the University of Cambridge in 2008 and worked as a science researcher at the National Institute of Digital Science and Technology in France from 2009 to 2012.
The Xuana family moved into the apartment in 2001.After the death of his mother, Wang Li, in 2017, both fathers and daughters lived together, but rarely interacted with neighbors, and often walked down their heads when they met in the corridor, which seemed very mysterious.
Neighbors reflected that Xuana allegedly suffered from mental illness, dependent on her father to go out and buy food, and I had seen her walk by hand dancing, behaving somewhat unusual, each time accompanied by her father to go out ".
