Israel has stopped military operations in Gaza.

On October 9, local time, according to a statement from the Israeli Prime Minister's Office,Israel has stopped its military operations in the Gaza Strip.

According to Israeli Army Radio, the Israeli army will not launch any military operations at present.However, they will not withdraw until the Israeli government ratifies the ceasefire.

Egyptian media, TV channel 12 and other media outlets earlier that the first phase of the Gaza ceasefire had officially entered into force at 12 a.m. on 9 a.m. local time, according to Reuters, citing an official at the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who said the ceasefire would come into effect after the Israeli government approved the agreement tonight.

According to a subsequent statement by the Israeli government, the Israeli security cabinet will hold a meeting at 17:00 that day to discuss the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip. The Israeli cabinet will meet at 18:00 local time to discuss plans to ensure the release of all Israeli detainees in the Gaza Strip.
