On October 9, local time, the Polish Security Service searched the residence in Warsaw of the "Nord Stream" bombing suspect Volodyir and his wife. Previously, Germany accused Volodymir of being suspected of participating in the explosion of the "Nord Stream" natural gas pipeline.
Volodymir's defense lawyer revealed that Polish National Security Agency officials were entrusted by the prosecutor's office to search the Warsaw apartment of Volodymir and his wife. Several items have been seized, which defense lawyers call "personal effects." Defense lawyers also stated that Volodyir was willing to cooperate with Polish law enforcement agencies and await possible charges to prove his innocence.
On September 30, a Ukrainian citizen was arrested at his residence on suspicion of violating the Constitution, destroying property and damaging the Nord Stream 2 pipeline. He is currently detained in Warsaw’s pre-trial detention facility. On October 6, the Warsaw District Court extended his detention until November 9. A spokesman for the Warsaw District Court said on November 6 that the main judge will soon determine the date of the trial of the case. The case of whether to extradite Volodymyr to Germany will also be decided by the court.
