Egypt sends aid convoy to Gaza after first phase of Gaza ceasefire agreement

According to the Egyptian Cairo News Television on October 9, Egypt sent a humanitarian aid carriage through the Rafah port to the Gaza Strip. This was the first aid car sent by Egypt after Israel and the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) reached the first phase of a ceasefire agreement in Gaza on the same day.

According to reports, the aid convoy organized by the Egyptian Red Crescent Society departed from the Egyptian side of the Rafah port and entered Gaza through the Kerem Shalom port after receiving Israeli inspections. The convoy was loaded with thousands of tons of rice, pasta, flour and infant formula, as well as medicines and medical supplies.

Egyptian Cairo News TV on the morning of 9 that a new round of Gaza ceasefire negotiations had reached agreement on all the terms and implementation mechanisms of the first phase ceasefire agreement, and the final version of the agreement was currently being drafted.
