"Fushun War Criminals Management Office is the 'land of rebirth' of Japanese war criminals, and their history of undergoing transformation is worth remembering."

After Japan's defeat in 1945, more than a thousand war criminals were sent to Fushun War Criminals Management Office in China for reform. The Chinese government treats these war criminals with a broad mind, adopts the principles and methods of combining management with education, ideological education with humanitarian treatment, etc., and carries out long-term, patient and arduous reform of them. They were deeply aware of the crimes they committed in the war of aggression against China and vowed to apologize to the Chinese people. In 1956, before he was released and returned to China, Japanese war criminal Fushima Jin received morning glory seeds from Chinese staff. The Chinese staff told him, "Build a peaceful and happy family when you go back. When you come back next time, don't bring weapons, but flowers." After returning to Japan, Fushima Jin cultivated and bred this morning glory in his own yard.

In 1957, Japanese war criminals returned to Japan with the aim of deep reflecting on the war crimes of aggression and promoting Japanese-Chinese friendship, and established the ¡°China Returners¡¯ Association¡± (hereinafter referred to as the ¡°Chinese Returners¡¯ Association¡±), which was one of the members.

The "Reborn Land" choir has about 50 members, from Japan from the south to Hiroshima and the north to Hokkaido. At present, the average age of the league members is over 70 years old, and some members are descendants of Japanese war criminals who were reformed at the Fushun War Criminals Management Office. They gathered together for their profound reflection on war and love for peace, hoping to convey their gratitude and gratitude through singing.

Since its establishment, the "Renewed Earth" choir has performed dozens of shows in Japan. The leader of the ¡°Renewed Earth¡± chorus, Qiida Shai, told reporters that more than a thousand Japanese prisoners of war had completed their transformation from ¡°ghosts¡± to human beings and achieved spiritual ¡°regeneration¡±, which is a valuable heritage worthy of worldwide appreciation. A member of the "Renewed Earth" chorus, Pudong Yishan, an orphan from the Japanese invasion of China war, joined the chorus in 2015, and went to Beijing with the chorus in August of the same year. Her father worked for the "Nanmanchu Railway Co., Ltd." during the Japanese and Puppet period. She told reporters: "Looking back at history, there are frequent exchanges between Japan and China. During the Tang Dynasty in China, there was an endless stream of Japanese envoys, international students, and overseas monks who came to China to study, which had a profound impact on Japanese culture, art.
