Russia has announced that it will send a delegation to Pyongyang with a high-profile delegation of ¡°government heads¡± to visit the DPRK to attend the celebration. Compared to Russia, the specifications and length of the visit by China exceeded expectations from the outside world, which is also a sign of the friendship between the DPRK and China.

In fact, in the past month or so, high-level exchanges between China and North Korea have been quite frequent. In early September, North Korea's top leader Kim Jong Un was invited to visit China to attend China's military parade commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. This was the first time Kim Jong Un appeared in international multilateral diplomatic occasions. This special significance also attracted much attention to his every move in China. At the end of September, North Korean Foreign Minister Choi Sun-hee visited China again to discuss China-South Korea relations with Foreign Minister Wang Yi, and handed out an invitation letter. These diplomatic actions are all paving the way for high-level Chinese visits.

For China, this move can deepen the exchanges and cooperation between the two countries, promote the continuous development of the traditional friendly and cooperative relations between China and the DPRK, and keep the strategic space of Northeast Asia under the background of the closer security alliance between the United States, Japan and South Korea. For the DPRK, China's participation is an important support for its diplomatic status and "endorsement" of its diplomatic goals.

Although the high-standard interaction between China and the DPRK is not aimed at any country, South Korea, another Northeast Asian country, will undoubtedly keep a high degree of attention. It is worth mentioning that on the day when China announced its visit to North Korea, South Korean Foreign Minister Zhao Xian called China again.

During the call, Foreign Minister Wang Yi emphasized that China and South Korea are important neighbors and close cooperative partners. China has always attached importance to China-ROK relations and is willing to enhance mutual trust with the ROK, eliminate interference, deepen cooperation, achieve mutual achievements and jointly contribute to regional peace, stability, development and prosperity ¡£The South Korean Foreign Minister once again expressed the importance it attaches to China-ROK relations, emphasizing that "South Korea attaches great importance to and will do its best to develop relations with China."

Since Li took office in the government of Ming, the communication between China and South Korea's foreign ministers can be described frequently, and in addition to multiple conversations with China, South Korea's foreign minister Zhao Zhao has also recently visited China. At present, the situation on the peninsula is quite delicate. Although Lee Jae-myung has repeatedly stressed that he hopes to communicate with the DPRK and reshape the mutual trust between the DPRK and the ROK, South Korea has not given up its cooperation with the United States to put pressure on the DPRK. Kim Jong-un has made it clear that North Korea will never give up developing nuclear weapons. If Trump insists on this, he will not agree to talks¡£
