Hamas and Israel began a new round of Gaza ceasefire talks on 6 June in Egypt¡¯s Sham Sheikh. The talks were conducted indirectly, with Egypt, Qatar and the United States intermitting, with Qatar¡¯s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed and a Turkish delegation joining the talks on 8 September.
