On October 8th, local time, the German government held a cabinet meeting, which passed a resolution and decided to authorize the German police.Police will be allowed to shoot down drones of unknown origin.The resolution will be submitted to the Federal Assembly and will become a law after the Federal Assembly has obtained its approval.

The resolution explicitly authorizes police to shoot down drones that violate German airspace in the event of a serious threat or serious damage, with available shooting techniques including the use of lasers or interference signals, cutting off their control and navigation links.

Recently, unknown drones have appeared over Germany, and unknown drones over Munich airport have caused the airport to close twice, causing flights to be cancelled and more than 10,000 passengers to stay.
