Government shutdowns cause tensions, large-scale flight delays in several U.S. cities

On October 7, local time, due to the shutdown of the U.S. government caused a shortage of air control personnel, the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issued an announcement on the evening said:Widespread flight delays in major cities including Chicago, Dallas and Nashville

Data shows that all flights to Chicago Ouhar International Airport have an average delay of about 41 minutes; Dallas-Washington International Airport has a delay of 30 minutes at a time; and Nashville International Airport has an average delay of up to 126 minutes.
