World Swimming Federation Global Headquarters in Budapest

The foundation stone for the new headquarters of FINA has been laid in Budapest, Hungary, and is scheduled to be completed in 2028.

The new location is selected in the 13th district of Budapest, covering an area of 20,000 square meters, with a world-class training center, athlete apartments, office areas and the headquarters of the federation.

In 2023, the World Swimming Federation and Hungary signed a headquarters relocation agreement and preliminary design plan. Relevant companies have redesigned and optimized the plan. The building facade is more in line with Hungarian architectural style and national traditions. It is one of the few key projects recognized by the Hungarian National Building Planning Committee.

According to the report, the World Swimming Union headquarters relocation project is highly aligned with the Budapest 2030 Urban Development Plan, Hungary is committed to enhancing Budapest's international influence, creating sustainable development neighborhoods, and consolidating the city's position as a double center of sport and culture.
