According to the British "Guardian" and other foreign media reports on the 7th, the Nobel Committee has so far failed to contact Fred Ramsdell, one of the winners of the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 2025-he is on a hike "away from the Internet" and enjoying a good time.

Earlier, Sweden's Caroline Medical College announced on October 6 that it would award the 2025 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine to American scientists Mary Brunko and Fred Ramsdell and Japanese scientist Shifumi Sakaguchi in recognition of their pioneering discoveries in the mechanism of peripheral immune tolerance.

According to the report, however, because the winner was "away from the Internet", the Nobel Committee was never able to contact him and inform him of the award.

Jeffrey Brustone, a friend of Ramsdell and co-founder of his lab, said that Ramsdell was completely worthy of this honor, but he couldn't contact the other party himself. "I've been trying to contact him personally. I think he may be hiking in a remote part of Idaho," Brustone revealed to AFP.
