The two sides also exchanged views on other regional issues such as Iran's nuclear program and the situation in Syria, and focused on finding a negotiated solution.

Putin said in the Russian city of Sochi on the 2nd that Russia has always advocated that the "two-state solution" is the final solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
